This week, retail received messages from Russian tour operators with announcements of early booking for the autumn-winter period of 2021.

Due to restrictions on flights between Russia and Spain, tour operators are adjusting their flight programs to this country.

Royal Flight airline received permission for charter flights from Moscow to Cuba. The carrier will be able to fly to Holguin and Varadero from the capital of Russia from March 29 to October 24.

The current winter season in Goa, according to experts, is similar to the season in 2019. However, the demand for destination this winter season is growing mainly due to regional tourists - tour operators offer a very budget tours.

According to market participants, at the stage of early booking the demand for tours to Greece for the summer of 2020 is ahead of last year from 10 to 35%. Tour operators are expanding their flight programs.

The tour operator Pegas Touristik, after the successful launch of Nordwind Airlines charter program to the Thai Surat Thani airport on February 14, plans to start flights from Khabarovsk.

Antalya continues to sum up the tourist results of the past year. Experts draw attention to the fact that the tourist destination in 2019 did not reach the target of 16 million tourists.

At the end of this year, the charter program of Pegas Touristik in Koh Samui will start. Charters from Russia will fly to this region of Thailand for the first time - prices start from 564 Euros per person per tour.

This year, Pegas Touristik and Anex Tour were replaced on the destination by the tour operator Biblio-Globus. The tour operator’s own flight program on boards of Rossia Airlines was launched on October 27 and will last until the end of March.

The demand for the Aegean coast among Russians this year has increased significantly and continues to grow. The data of Russian tour operators convincingly indicate a certain diversification of the dynamics of Russian tourist demand of Turkey.

The minimum prices for holiday tours to India are comparable to the cost of air tickets to the destination. Experts see the reason of the situation in the specifics of India as a tourist destination.

The tour operator Pegas Touristik will complete the winter flight program to Jamaica earlier than scheduled. Nordwind's charter flights will last until mid-January, not until the end of March 2020, as originally planned.

One more Carribean destination, Jamaica will be presented on the Russian market in winter season 2020. Pegast Touristik is the only Russian tour operator ordering charter program to Jamaica (Montego Bay international airport) in coperation with Nord Wind air company from Sheremetyevo international airport.

Tour operators have to respond to high demand for Antalya with additional flights. Pegas Touristik increased the existing flight program in Antalya.

The distinctive feature of winter 2019-2020 flight program to Dominican Republic is the appearance of the flights not only from the Russian capital, but also from several regional airports.

The flights to Cuba are planned by 5 main Russian tour operators. They have chosen 6 different airports of Cuba as arrival points for the tourists. This wide spectrum of proposals will be an attractive moment for them. Some programs are planned for the whole year round. The tour operators, working on the destination, have arranged flight programs for the winter season 2019-2020 (from October 2019 to May 2020). The upcoming winter season promises to be difficult for the destination, experts do not expect a significant increase in demand, but, however, do not predict a serious decline. 

Three Russian tour operators start flight programs to Mexico for the winter season. Pegast Touristik starts its flight program to Cancun on 27.08.2019 with Nord Wind air company. Coral Travel flies to Cancun with Royal Flight (RL 7581/82) on Boeing 777-300 ER from Vnukovo. Anex Tour flies to Cancun with Azur Air all year round on Boeing 777-300 ER twice a week.

Tour operators continue to cut flight programs to Turkey from Tatarstan. As Kazan travel agents reported, Coral Travel and Pegas Touristic tour operators have canceled one flight. In addition, Pegas Touristic also changed the boards to Antalya to smaller ones: instead of Boeing-777, the flights will be performed by Airbus A321. Thus, if in May and the beginning of June, the supplier sent 2300-2500 people a week to Antalya, now only 1,870 seats are planned to use. 

Pegas Touristik tour operator stopped selling package tours to resorts in Egypt with a departure after June 9. This follows from the data of the online booking system on the company's website. “The flight program to Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada was completely closed,” told Anna Podgornaya, the company's CEO.
