Flight program to Jamaica will be finished in January 2020

One more Carribean destination, Jamaica will be presented on the Russian market in winter season 2020.

In the beginning of October the news about the change in Pegast TO flight program to Jamaica was published by Russian Travel Digest. It will be finished not in March as was planned before but i January 2020. Last year the program was finished in the middle of April. The company doesn’t comment the decision. It may be that the destination was not successful in competition with Dominicana, Cuba and Mexica having rather big variety of offers. Or it’s not so profitable for TO having wide range of winter destinations. Anyhow Russian tourist can visit Jamaica only till the middle of January now.

As we wrote before, Pegast Touristik is the only Russian tour operator ordering charter program to Jamaica (Montego Bay international airport) in cooperation with Nord Wind air company from Sheremetyevo international airport. The program will consist of 10/11 day flights starting since 14.10.19 and will be fulfilled on Boeing 700-200 with 440 seats without business class. This destination has its history in Russian travel industry: in 2012-2013 tour operator Biblio Globus in cooperation with Transaero airline have fulfilled the program. But that was the period when the market was growing. Today the situation is different. Nevertheless the tour operator presents the program on the website. The prices start from 138 100 rubles (2106 $) for 2 people (DBL RO). The tourists can choose among 48 hotels on the website of Pegast Touristik.
