ANEX Tour presents package tours to new Caribbean countries
The growth of traffic to the Dominican Republic and Cuba, the success of Mexico and the renewal of AZUR airline’s fleet make it possible for the tour operator to reach new destinations in Latin America. The Caribbean region shows a significant increase in bookings this winter season. Cuba grew by 100% compared with the winter of 2017, the Dominican Republic - by 22%. According to the CEO of ANEX Tour Caribbean Alfonso Nietto, to Mexico, which was fully opened by the company in 2018, by the end of the year ANEX Tour planned to send up to 20 thousand tourists. The head of ANEX Tour Caribbean, in particular, noted that the expansion of geography in Cuba, primarily due to Cayo-Koko, gave a double increase in winter. As for Mexico, according to Alfonso Nietto, the destination was more than successful. AZUR air flights, departing to Cancun twice a week, were loaded almost 100%. Business class of Boeing 777-300 was in great demand. From the third week of January, ANEX Tour will increase the frequency of flights to Cancun up to 3 times a week. “By the end of 2018, we intend to offer package tours into a number of new Caribbean countries, most of which are still little known on the Russian market,” said Alfonso Nietto. In particular, these are such beach destinations as Jamaica, Panama, Costa Rica, Aruba and Curaçao, some other Caribbean microstates, as well as Colombia and some other countries of Central and South America with combined (beach + excursions) and excursion tours. Products, according to the company's plans, should appear in the line of offers in early January. Recall that AZUR Airline has increased the number of aircraft up to 25 airplanes this year. In 2019 the carrier fleet will continue to be updated. It is possible that after the “GDS testing” in 2019, the ANEX Tour charters will appear on the new Caribbean destinations, of which Jamaica has the greatest potential for launching a direct flight.
