Russia and the United States are planning to restore direct flights between the two countries

Bilateral consultations between Russia and the United States were held in Istanbul yesterday, represented by Alexander Darchiev, Director of the North America Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, and Sonata Coulter, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, on the normalization of the functioning of diplomatic missions of both countries, following recent bilateral contacts at the highest and highest levels.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that practical results are needed to improve bilateral relations. In this regard, Russian representatives suggested that the American side consider the possibility of resuming direct flights.
