The U.S. administration has published new visa restrictions aimed at eliminating so-called “baby tourism,” a system reportedly used by hundreds of Russian women each year.

The airline company "Aeroflot" plans to start daily flights from Moscow to Newark Liberty International airport (located near Newark city, New Jersey) since June 1, 2017. The flights will be performed by Airbus A330. Departure from Moscow (airport "Sheremetyevo") is scheduled at 20:00, arriving to Newark at 23:00. Departure of the return flight is scheduled at 1:00 with arrival to Moscow at 17:20. Newark Liberty airport is 24 km south-west of New York's Midtown area. Currently, "Aeroflot" implements two daily flights to New York City airport John F. Kennedy (JFK).

“Nordwind Airlines has become a regular carrier between Moscow and New York”, - Rosaviation said referring to a note of the Russian Foreign Ministry. The airline company will fly to New York and back seven times a week. “Previously, "Transaero" airline company was official carrier on this route”, - noted the Federal Air Transport Agency.

September 6 the “Delta Airline” company’s flight on the route Moscow - New York will be the last this year. Thus, the largest US company stops direct flights between the US and Russia. After leaving “Delta Airlines” the only carrier, which implements direct flights on the route Moscow - New York, will be "Aeroflot".

From May 15, US airline Delta Air Lines resumed flight operations from New York (John F. Kennedy airport) to Moscow (Sheremetyevo airport), according to the press service of the carrier. The airline will fly on this route until September five times a week on the aircraft Boeing 767-300ER. From New York flights will depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 19:13 and arrive in Moscow the next day at 12:00. Return flights will be operated on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 13:45 and arrive in New York at 16:50 (local time). Flights from Moscow to New York are also operated twice per day by Aeroflot airline.
