Nordwind has become a regular carrier between Moscow and New York
“Nordwind Airlines has become a regular carrier between Moscow and New York”, - Rosaviation said referring to a note of the Russian Foreign Ministry. The airline company will fly to New York and back seven times a week. “Previously, "Transaero" airline company was official carrier on this route”, - noted the Federal Air Transport Agency. As reported, after the cancellation of "Transaero" certificate of admission to this rout, "Aeroflot" started to carry out flights on this line. But in April "Aeroflot" denied from 13 international lines (among 56), including seven flights per week between Moscow and New York. The head of "Aeroflot" explained this decision by "concerning for the preservation of competition" on the airline market of the Russian Federation. The experts considered this act as "concession" towards the Federal Antimonopoly Service: against a background of falling international transportation all this routs are without interest.
