The tourist season in India began with minimal prices
The minimum prices for holiday tours to India based on the first flights of the 2019/20120 season are comparable to the cost of air tickets to the destination. So, a week-long holiday at budget hotels in the north of Goa with a flight from Moscow on October 25 can now be actually purchased for 44 000 Rubles (619 Euros) for two persons. It is notable, that last year’s season started in India with the same price parameters. At the same time, the volume of flight programs from the Russian capital to Dabolim (Goa) is slightly less: the tour operators Pegas Touristik and Coral Travel united on the boards of Royal Flight. As for other tour operators, their frequency of flights from Moscow to Goa corresponds to last year's figures (Biblio Globus - four times a week by Rossiya Airlines, Anex Tour - three times a week by Azur Air).
A lower intensity of flights should favor to a better loading of boards and higher prices for tours, but so far this has not happened. The positive effect of a double cheapening of visas is not particularly noticeable - now the cost of visa for Russian tourists is from $10 to $25. Experts see the reason of the situation in the specifics of India as a tourist destination. There is a fairly constant circle of holidaymakers in this country, who choose its resorts from year to year. However, it is difficult for India to count on growth in demand due to the redistribution of tourist flows from other regions. This conclusion is confirmed by the results of a survey made by HotLine.travel: tourists who are accustomed to travel, for example, to Thailand or Vietnam are not ready to exchange these destinations for India.
