Tour operators have cut regional flight programs to the UAE

Starting January 15, 2020, Pegas Touristik and Coral Travel tour operators will optimize the flight programs to Dubai from Saratov ahead of schedule, according to local travel agents. On the websites of suppliers the last available flight to Dubai from Saratov was dated January 2. 
According to observers, the reasons of cancelation of the flights are the problems with their loading. At the moment, there is “burning” in the destination, so, a weekly tour from Saratov can be booked for 493 Euros for two persons. If there is an oversupply of regular flights from Moscow and the prices for which are offered cheaper than for charters, then in Saratov there are no alternatives. 
However, Coral Travel mentioned other reasons. “Today there is a temporary border control checkpoint at the Gagarin Airport (Saratov). According to the requirements of the Federal Border Service, it can take only one flight per week (international flight) and in order to open a new checkpoint it must be closed,” the company explained. 
According to the director of the Saratov agency “Laguna-tour” Dmitry Anpilogov, this is not the first case of early termination of the program in the UAE from the city. As a result, there will be no flights to winter tourist destinations from Gagarin Airport. 
The problems with the loading of the boards in Dubai from the regions the tour operators have experienced before. So, this year Coral Travel after the New Year has canceled all the flights from Chelyabinsk, Kazan, Samara and several other cities.
