The tour operator Anex has announced seven charter destinations for the upcoming winter season. This winter direct charters of Anex will fly to Egypt, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Cuba and Turkey.

The summer season 2023 turned out to be the most successful for Thailand in terms of Russian tourist flow for the entire history of Russian tourism in the country.

Tours to Thailand for the winter season have appeared in the assortment of Coral Travel. The high season flight program starts on October 31 and will last until May 11. Flights will be operated by Azur air. Frequency is 2 times a week.

In the autumn-winter season, tours to Phuket arranged on direct Icar flights will be available to Pegas Touristik tourists from seven regions of Russia. Programs start from October-November depending on the city of departure.

Russian tourists in the first half of 2023 became the leaders in the tourist flow to Phuket. Since January 1, almost 450 thousand Russians have visited the Thai island.

Since mid-August, the tour operator Fun&Sun has added 2 more own charter flights from Moscow to Phuket and 3 new departure regions to Phuket: Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk and Vladivostok.

Aeroflot Airlines and Khabarovsk International Airport agreed to continue operating direct regular flights to Phuket in the autumn-winter schedule. At present, the carrier’s flights have been agreed until the end of March.

For the upcoming winter season, flight programs to Thailand have already been announced by two tour operators - Pegas Touristik and Fun & Sun. Anex has calculated tour packages until the end of October.

Thailand is striving for a full restoration of the volume of Russian tourist traffic by the end of 2023. For the first six months - from January 1 to July 1 - Thailand received 791 562 Russians. Of these, 50 770 Russians arrived in June.

Fun&Sun has announced the start of its own charter program for the autumn-winter season to Thailand. For the winter season the tour operator has fully bought seats on Red Wings flights to Thailand from seven cities in Russia.

Instead of Turkey, Russian tourists can go to the UAE, Thailand and even the Maldives - prices for hotels there in summer are even cheaper than Turkish ones.

The domestic tour operator Anex Tour announced the extension of the flight program to the popular Thai island of Phuket for two seasons at once - summer and autumn 2023. Tourists will be able to get to the tropics on direct flights from five cities of Russia.

Russia has maintained a strong position in terms of tourist flow to Thailand. At the beginning of April, Russia took the third place of the top entry markets for Thailand.

The tour operator Anex Tour announced the extension of the charter program to Thailand for the summer season. The flight program to Pattaya starts on May 1 and ends on October 28. Red Wings will fly to Pattaya from Moscow (Domodedovo) twice a week.

Egypt moved from the third position to the first since March 8, having increased its share by 6 points. The UAE lost a little - 2 points, Thailand lost 5 points. And Turkey, on the contrary, increased its share by 4 points.

In spring tour operators do not expect a noticeable decline of tourist activity in the Thai destination. All experts agree that in the spring season Thailand will be able to maintain its position in the list of the most popular countries among Russians.

In 2022, Thailand accepted 435 008 Russians. This is more than 14 times or 131,4% more than in 2021, when only 30 759 Russians came to Thailand.

Russia entered the TOP-10 countries in terms of tourist flow to Thailand in 2022. 435 thousand citizens of the country visited the country, while in 2021 the tourist flow amounted to only 30,7 thousand people.

99 593 tourists from Russia visited Thailand from January 1 to January 15, 2023. And this is the best result among all countries.

To meet the increased demand for holidays in Thailand among Russian tourists, the tour operator Fun&Sun has decided to expand its flight offers to the destination. Flight novelties refer to the resort of Pattaya.

This year, 1,5 million tourists have holidays with the tour operator Fun&Sun. By the end of 2023, the company plans to send 2,5 million tourists.

There is an addition for the Thai flight assortment of Aeroflot. From January 18, a flight from Irkutsk to Bangkok will be added to the flights to Phuket and Bangkok from Moscow, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk and Vladivostok.

Following the results of 11 months of this year, Thailand received 256,5 thousand tourists from Russia. From January to March 2023, Thailand can accept more than 377,5 thousand Russian tourists.

Starting December 27, Red Wings will operate flights from Moscow to Pattaya (Utapao Airport) twice a week (on Tuesdays and Fridays). The program will run until the end of March.

Additional permits for flights to the most of the "winter" resorts were requested by Russian carriers.The main destinations are Thailand, as well as the Indian resort of Goa and other warm countries.
