More than 3,000 trade professionals are expected, giving Malaysian suppliers direct access to decision-makers across Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa. Malaysian hotels, DMCs, airlines and event suppliers are invited to meet international buyers face-to-face at the Meet Global MICE Congress (MGMC), taking place on 16–17 December 2026 at the World Trade Center in Moscow.
Organised by the Moscow City Tourism Committee, MGMC is expected to bring together more than 3,000 business travel and MICE professionals from over 40 countries. About 70 per cent of attendees are C-level executives, according to the organisers. For Malaysian suppliers, the draw is the exhibition floor. More than 150 suppliers will take part in scheduled B2B meetings with qualified buyers.
A Hosted Buyers programme will bring over 200 decision-makers who manage major corporate event budgets, from China, India, Southeast Asia, the GCC, Latin America, Africa and the CIS. "We attach immense value to the participation of our colleagues and industry experts from Malaysia, which is rapidly emerging as one of the leading MICE destinations, " said Anastasia Popova, Head of Business Tourism Development Department, Moscow City Tourism Committee. "The Congress offers an exceptional opportunity for Malaysian experts to showcase their potential on the global stage and expand their professional connections. "
Practical tools, not just panels This year's theme is "The Anatomy of Success in MICE: From Ideas and Tools to Tangible Results" . Sessions follow the full lifecycle of a business event, from concept to execution and post-event review. They focus on tools and methods delegates can apply immediately, with case studies on financial sustainability, digital technologies, entering new markets and crisis management.
Why Moscow? Moscow offers high-capacity convention centres alongside more than 150 venues integrated into its business events ecosystem, including museums, historic estates, theatres and city landmarks. This allows organisers to build cultural experiences into a business programme. Foreign delegates can also apply for an e-visa, which simplifies travel logistics.
