Tour operators increase the volume of transportation to Thailand in the autumn-winter season
The tour operator Anex has added Tomsk and Barnaul to the list of flights to Thailand in winter, and has also joined Phuket to its Priority concept since August. In winter, Anex will fly to Thailand from 9 Russian cities.
Pegas Touristik also included Thailand in the Premium concepts Pegas Select and Pegas Comfort. There is also a new addition to the Fum&Sun flight assortment in Thailand - since August, the tour operator's tourists have been flying to Phuket from Sochi. Also, Aeroflot significantly expands the flight program to Thailand for the winter season.
In total, at the moment Thailand season will be available to tourists from 14 cities in the winter:
Moscow, Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Ufa, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Khabarovsk, Barnaul, Kemerovo, Tomsk, Vladivostok, Krasnoyarsk and Sochi.
Tour operators have positive forecasts for the autumn-winter season. The current sales figures are encouraging and showing Thailand's strong intentions to become the top destination for the winter season. Already, Thailand is in the first place in the ranking of countries - leaders of demand among Russians.
It will be possible to visit Thailand in winter for an average of $ 2 175 for two persons for 10-11 nights.
According to experts, the chances that by the end of 2023 Thailand will fully return the volumes which were lost during the pandemic are more than high. In 2019, Thailand received 1,47 million tourists from Russia.
