Anex announced the expansion of its flight program to Thailand for the winter season, adding 4 more departure cities to its flight range. Residents of Ufa, for example, will be able to spend 9 nights in Phuket in November for $ 2 110 for two persons. The companies Coral Travel and Fun&Sun are also preparing to offer tours to Thailand to residents of new cities.
The high demand for holidays in Thailand in the winter season among residents of different cities of the Russian Federation requires increasing of transportation volumes from tour operators. Flight programs from 13 regions of Russia have already been announced for the winter season. As the high season approaches, the geography expands.
According to the Russian Embassy in Thailand, the total number of flights (both charter and regular) from Russia to Thailand in the autumn-winter season can reach 210 flights per week. Aeroflot and Biblio-Globus are also increasing their programs for tourists.
In the very near future, updated flight plans for Thailand will be announced by Coral Travel and Fun&Sun. And Anex recently announced the expansion of the geography of flights for the winter season from 12 cities. Newcomer cities are: Kazan, Omsk, St. Petersburg and Ufa. Flights from Omsk, St. Petersburg and Ufa to Phuket will be operated by Red Wings, and tourists from Kazan will be carried to Phuket by Azur air. The programs start in early November.
With the addition of new departure cities, Anex flight portfolio to Thailand looks like this: Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Petersburg, Ufa, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Omsk, Khabarovsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk and Vladivostok.
Residents of Moscow, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk and Yekaterinburg are now most actively booking tours to Thailand, said Alena Khitrova, Deputy Director of the Anex Communications Department.
Of the four new cities, Kazan is now the leader in terms of bookings. The company characterizes the overall sales volumes of the destination as consistently high, and the prospects for the high season are optimistic.
