In the winter season, leading tour operators with strong positions on Thai destination - Anex, Coral Travel, Fun&Sun, Intourist - as last year, will share charter flights of Azur air and Red Wings. Pegas Touristik will traditionally work in partnership with Ikar airline. Biblio-Globus will fly on the flights of its partner – Aeroflot.
GDS tours on regular Aeroflot flights, in addition to the above tour operators, can be purchased from Tez Tour, Space Travel, Pax, Ambotis Holidays, Russian Express, Pac Group, Spectrum, etc.
Also, regular flights in the winter season will include S7 flights from Irkutsk to Bangkok, which the carrier operates year-round.
And, of course, tourists always have the option of connecting flights from foreign carriers. For example, Pax took blocks of seats to Phuket on Qatar Airways (via Doha).
Flights to Samui, the third most popular beach destination in Thailand after Phuket and Pattaya, will remain, as before, only connecting.
Last winter season, charters to Phuket and Pattaya flew from 15 Russian cities. This year, so far, 13 departure cities have been announced. Samara, Tyumen, Omsk and Kemerovo are still missing from the list of the last year's cities.
