Beach holidays in Europe: preferences of Russians

The interest of Russian tourists in summer holidays in European countries is steadily growing, Russian tour operators note, citing their sales data. Demand there this summer is not massive, but steady. Montenegro, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Spain, and Cyprus are the most popular among tourists.

In addition to package tours, tourists book only hotels with tour operators and get to their holiday destinations on their own. They mainly choose high-class hotels - not lower than 4*. In this segment, one of the most affordable European countries in August 2025 is Greece: rates for accommodation in Greek hotels turned out to be the most attractive among the European countries in demand among Russians. The most expensive is a holiday in Croatia.
