In this winter season the volume of charter flights to Mexico will grow. The peak of Russian tourist arrivals in Mexico was in 2013 (100.6 thousand tourists), in 2014 77.5 thousand Russian citizens arrived in the country.

“Anex Tour operator will launch charter flights from Moscow to the Mexican resort of Cancun since October 23. More than 82% of October’s tickets are sold”, reported the company's press service. The direct charter flight will be carried out by AZUR air with Boeing 777-300 ER, which is fitted with economy and business class seats.

“80% of the first October and 50% of New Year's charters to Cancun are loaded. At present time, the sales are at about last year's level, but I believe that we will have possibilities to increase the flight program this season”, told Tatyana Chizhova, the head of Mexico and China destinations of ANEX Tour.

Pegasus Touristik tour operator extends the flight program to Cancun for the summer season. The operator plans to fly from Moscow to this resort twice a week in the summer 2018. The flights to Cancun for PEGAS Touristik will be performed by Nordwind by Boeing 777-200 liners with a capacity of 285 seats (business / economy classes).

Biblio Globus tour operator has launched the charter program to Cancun. This is the second operator on the rout who has own charter program - and this time the program is very broad. According to Biblio Globus, the first flight of the program from Moscow to Cancun will be performed on December 26, 2017.

"In the letter to Russian tour operators, signed by the charge d'affaires of the Embassy of Mexico in Russian Federation, it is reported that the office, which was opened in November 2014, ceases its work due to technical reasons", - informed ATOR.
