Cancun has become very popular among Russian tourists

Mr. Reynoso found it difficult to give exact figures, but noted that in general for all markets, the increase in tourist flow to Mexico is about 8% compared with last year's figures. From the end of January ANEX Tour adds another flight, which means that this winter season will be much better than the previous one. According to Andreas Reynoso, the tourism office spent about 3-4 million dollars to promote the destination in the country. ANEX Tour confirms: Mexico sales are going well, the depth reaches February. “However, it is unlikely that it will be possible in the near future to achieve the record figures that were in 2013, when more than 100 thousand tourists from Russia visited the country”, says Alfonso Nieto, the general director of the Caribbean department of ANEX Tour. Since the crisis began, the number of holidaymakers who can afford this destination has noticeably decreased. “Everything very much depends on the economic situation, but I think that in two years the Russian market will take its place in Mexico once again,” Alfonso Nieto suggested.
