An active sales season has started on Israeli destination: according to tour operators, the demand for holidays in this country has been showing stability for several years, and some players are registering an increase of 10–15%. According to the press service of Intourist tour operator, at the moment Israel’s sales are in line with the company's expectations.

“In 2018 Israel is waiting for about 400 thousand Russian tourists. As a result of the first 9 months of 2018, 272 thousand Russian tourists visited Israel”, reported Ksenia Kobyakova, the head of the department of Israeli Ministry of Tourism in the Russian Federation and the CIS.

“The Russian tourist flow to Israel for January-April 2018 amounted 116.2 thousand people, which is 6% more than in the same period of the last year”, - said the Head of the Israeli Ministry of Tourism in Russia and CIS Ksenia Kobyakova. "The tourist flow from Russia shows stable growth: from January to April the country was visited by 116.2 thousand people, which is 6% more than in the same period in 2017.

According to the results of the first four months of 2018, the number of Russian tourists in Israel reached 116 200 people, which is 6% more than in the same period of the last year. Israel expects the continued growth of tourist traffic from Russia in upcoming winter season, especially in Eilat. According to Ksenia Kobyakova, the Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Tourism of Israel in Russian Federation and CIS, Russia remains on the second position in 2018 by the number of arrivals to Israel after the US.

“The tourist flow from Russia to Israel increased by 40% last year in comparison with 2016, the country was visited by more than 397 thousand Russians”, - reported the press service of the Ministry of Tourism of Israel.
