Pobeda airline launches flights to Eilat
Starting October 2019, Pobeda low-cost airline will start operating flights from Moscow to Eilat for the first time. The flights will be operated three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Since beginning of August, tickets were already on sale.
The Israeli side approved the “arrival” of the Russian low-cost airline. “Eilat is a popular destination among the Russians. So, according to the data for 2018, the Russian tourists are on the first position in terms of the number of nights in the city. I am sure that the number of Russian tourists in Eilat will only increase. There are many reasons for this: Eilat is the closest winter resort for the central part of Russia with chic hotels, restaurants and ultra-modern Ramon airport,” commented Vladimir Shklyar, the director of the Israeli Ministry of Tourism in Russia and the CIS, adviser to the Embassy of the State of Israel in Russia.
Also from October 25, Pobeda low-cost airline will launch flights to Dubai. Ticket sales are already opened. According to the information provided by the carrier, the flights will be operated four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from Moscow Airport
At the moment, the cost of a one-way ticket varies from 3,9 thousand to 6,2 thousand Rubles (85 Euros) per person. The sales are opened until the end of March 2020.
Earlier, Pobeda planned to open flights to Egypt. At least, the company's intention to carry out such flights was stated by the carrier’s general director Andrei Kalmykov. According to him, a tourist, buying a ticket to Egypt, will also be able to book a hotel, pay for a transfer and buy insurance.
