The growth of the Russian tourist flow to Eilat is almost 60%
The promotion policy on the Russian market of the “Red Sea” Israeli resort Eilat continues to justify itself: the interest of Russian tourists in Eilat and the Dead Sea continues to grow steadily. This assessment was voiced by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism.
So, a total of 79 flights were operated between September 8 and December 14, 2019. In total, 12 905 guests from Russia arrived at Ramon Airport, which is 59% more than the same period last year.
“For comparison: from September 16 to December 14, 2018, 50 flights were performed to the southern airport of Israel and 8 105 tourists from Russia were transported,” the press service reported.
