Volumes of regular transportation from Russian regions to Israel have increased

As noted in the Ministry of Tourism, the positive dynamics of the tourist flow in Israel is connected with an expanding of flight programs from Russia. In addition to charters arranged by tour operators, the number of scheduled flights has been increased. "Starting December 1, regular air transportation from Rostov-on-Don was launched to Tel Aviv, the flights will be operated twice a week. The flight from Novosibirsk is scheduled since April 2, 2020. It will be operated by S7 weekly on Thursdays," the press service of Ministry of Tourism informed.

“From January to November, more than 4.5 million tourists from all over the world visited Israel, which is 12% more than the same period last year. For the same period, the number of Russian tourists in Israel amounted to 370,7 thousand, including one-day tourists and passengers of cruise liners. The number of Russians increased by 5% compared with January-November 2018," the press service of the Ministry reported.
