Demand for autumn tours to Israel grew from 10% to 30%
Autumn season in Israel promises successful sales for tour operators. The growth is fixed at 13% and higher against the last year. In general, beach vacations are on the first preference among tourists. However, the specifics of the destination are such that it is quite easy to combine beach tour with excursion programs.
Thus, for example, from September 6, 2019 the tour operator Intourist offers a wellness program on the Dead Sea for a week at a 3* hotel for $ 830 USD. The tour operator Biblio Globus presents autumn programs in Eilat - from 22.10.2019 for 85 820 Rubles ($ 1 291) for a week at a 3* hotel.
Israel’s domestic tourism statistics are also optimistic: according to the country's Central Bureau of Statistics, in July 2019, about 322 thousand visits of tourists were registered, which is 10% more than in July 2018, and 19,1% more than in July 2017. Over the period from January to July 2019, 2,587 million tourist visits were registered, last year this figure was 2,356 million. "Israel has also become a summer vacation destination, and we continue to prepare for new records in the coming months," said Amir Halevi, the head of the Ministry of Tourism.
“For the upcoming winter season Tui has opened early booking program, our volumes on the destination are doubled compared to the previous winter seasons. The Tui flight program starts on October 21. The flights will be operated from Moscow to Ramon airport on the wings of Ural Airlines. The offer includes tours with charter flight to the Red Sea (Eilat region), the Dead Sea and combined tours, as well as tours with regular flights,” the tour operator’s experts also underlined.
“Intourist has a 13% increase in sales compared to the same period last year. At the moment, tours for August are actively sold. Israel is a visa-free destination for Russians, so tours for the coming dates are more than relevant for this destination. We expect even greater sales intensification,” the press service of Intourist reports. Moreover, according to experts, the depth of sales reaches January 2020.
