What countries do Russian tourists with children choose for the New Year’s dates?
The tour operator Tui Russia has analyzed the demand for the New Year holidays and compiled a rating of tourist destinations where Russians plan to travel with their children.
New Year's Turkey is on the third position in the ranking of tourists of the tour operator. More than 15% of the tour operator’s clients chose the “Turkish coast” as the resort for the New Year holidays. The vast majority of them go in winter to Turkey with children.
In winter, prices in hotels in Turkey are much lower than in high season, and you can easily relax in a premium hotel.
The second most popular resort among family customers for these New Year holidays is Thailand. This destination now accounts about 16% of tour bookings for the New Year holidays, half of these tourists are with children.
Tui flies to Thailand both from Moscow and from 12 regions.
On the first position, according to the preferences of family tourists for the New Year, is the UAE. More than 20% of the tour operator’s clients plan to spend the New Year holidays in the Emirates, and more than 60% of them will go for vacation with their children.
Taking into account the high share of family tourists on this route, this winter season the tour operator has opened its own Tui Mini Tukan children's clubs in a number of UAE hotels. The clubs act for younger guests at Al Hamra Residence 5* and Al Hamra Village Golf & Beach Resort 4* hotels in Ras al-Khaimah and Blue Diamond Alsalam Resort 5* hotel in the Emirate of Fujairah. Russian-speaking animators will be engaged with children.
This season, Tui has an extensive winter flight program in the UAE from Moscow and 12 cities of Russia, including its own charter chains from Moscow to Dubai and Ras al-Khaimah.
The TOP-10 of New Year's preferences among Tui tourists also includes Russia, Bulgaria, Andorra, Jordan, Cyprus, Israel and Spain.
Finland is also interesting winter destination, where 2% of Tui tourists plan to go during New Year's holidays, and almost all of them travel in large families, sometimes 6 people in each group.
