Thailand, the UAE and Vietnam became the most popular winter destinations for Russian tourists

As Erjument Yunalan, the commercial director of the tour operator Coral Travel, said, Russian tourists most often buy winter tours for early booking program in Thailand, the UAE and Vietnam. 
"Sales of tours to Thailand increased by 26%, in the UAE - by 66%, in Vietnam - by 48% and in India - by 165%. This growth is explained by the increased interest of Russians in early booking, when the savings can reach 40-50%. Tourists are increasingly taking advantage of this opportunity," said Yunalan. 
He added that tours to the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Cuba are also actively sold for the winter season. 
According to Mr. E. Yunalan, in the winter season Coral Travel will present in Antalya the largest charter program among Russian tour operators, increasing the number of flights in the New Year period. As for the ski tours, the sales volumes will remain at the level of the last year - the growth is restrained by the availability of competitive resorts in Russia. 
The tour operator now offers ski programs in Turkey (Erciyes resort), Andorra, Italy and Russia. In addition, tourists can combine ski holidays with sightseeing. 
Mr. E. Yunalan noted that early booking for summer 2020 has already been opened in the main destinations, and this year it was done much earlier than in previous years. 
Speaking about the results of the summer season, Yunalan emphasized that this period was successful for the tour operator. Most tourists were sent to Turkey (68% of all sold tours), Tunisia (10%) and Greece (6%). At the same time, the number of sold tours to Turkey in the summer increased by 2%, to Tunisia - by 22%, Greece - by 4%, Cyprus - by 19%, Spain - by 5%. 
The commercial director of Coral Travel also recalled that in August the tour operator began to offer (together with Royal Flight) direct flights to the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana) and Cuba (Varadero) on a Boeing 777-300ER with business class.
