Tour operators reported: how the early booking of tours for the winter is going
The rate of early booking of tours for the winter season - 2019/2020 is ahead of last year's figures. This was announced by tour operator companies.
Tez Tour currently records a 10-15% increase. Currently, in January-February, more than 60% of ski tours assortment and up to 50% of beach tours were sold. Combined tours are especially popular among tour operator clients, for example – tours to several European countries or beach vacations with treatment programs. Among other winter destinations, which are in demand, prevail the countries offering a beach holiday with a facilitated visa regime - the UAE, Thailand, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Mauritius, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. At the same time, the increasing demand for tours with flights on regular flights is noticeable.
The positive dynamics of sales for the winter period is also announced in Tui Russia. “This year, our volumes have doubled. And the volume of early booking for the winter is 3 times higher than the volume of the past season. The TOP-5 of destinations includes Turkey, Emirates, Cyprus, Thailand and Italy,” the company informed.
The Alps are traditionally popular among Pac Group clients - Italy, France and Austria. "At the moment, most of the bookings are for the New Year and Christmas dates, as well as for the second half of January," reported the representative of the company.
Travel services suppliers explain the increased demand by the fact that law enforcement officers this year are able to travel to Turkey, as well as the absence of negative factors in the form of rising exchange rates and other economic shocks.
