Intourist launches charters to Israel
According to representatives of the tour operator Intourist, their own winter charter program from Moscow to the Israeli resort of Eilat starts on November 3, 2019 and runs through April 26, 2020. The charter flights to the Red Sea will be operated on the boards of Red Wings airline with frequency once a week, on Sundays. Intourist charters will fly from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Ramon - the newly built Eilat airport. As the tour operator says, the company will arrange both tours with a beach vacation at the Red Sea resort and medical tours to the Dead Sea hotels on the basis of the charter program with arrival at Ramon airport.
Now, Intourist provides a bonus (a free sightseeing tour across Eilat), when tourist book a package to Eilat, which includes flight + transfer + ground service.
Sergey Tolchin, the executive director of Intourist, does not hide the fact that the company is fully aware of the fact that the tour operator will have to work in conditions of high competition. According to him, the new charter program of Intourist is already supported by large hotel chains in Israel, such as Isrotel, Dan, Crowne Plaza and Fattal. These hotels provide additional discounts for accommodation as part of the early booking promotion. “As a result, until the end of September, you can book a vacation on the Red Sea or purchase a tour to the Dead Sea with discounts from 10% to 15%,” Mr. Tolchin underlined.
