Aeroflot will fly to the Seychelles from April 2
Aeroflot Airlines will operate regular flights to the Seychelles (Mahe Island) from April 2, 2021. The cost of tickets on the route from Moscow to Mahe and back in April starts from 680 Euros per person.
According to the airline, flights will be operated once a week on Fridays. The first flight will be performed on April 2. From Moscow it costs 328 Euros per person one way. A return ticket for April 9 will cost from 357 Euros per person.
"The opening of flights to the Seychelles became possible after the adoption of an appropriate decision by the operational headquarters of Russia to prevent the import and spread of a new coronavirus infection in the Russian Federation and the opening of the border for Russians by the Seychelles authorities," Aeroflot said.
According to the statement of the Seychelles Ministry of Tourism released on March 4, Russian citizens from March 25 can enter the territory of the Seychelles without restrictions, a visa is not required. But in order to travel, they will need a negative test for COVID-19 in Arabic, English or French, done no earlier than 72 hours before departure from the first point of the route.
