Tour operators: demand for New Year's exotic is 15 times higher than for tours in the low season

The desire to spend the New Year under palm trees on exotic islands is increasing among Russians despite on the economic situation. Moreover, according to experts of tourism market, proposals for "exotic resorts" for the New Year dates began to be actively bought up since September. And the demand for such destinations is growing. 
“The Top-3 most popular exotic destinations for New Year’s dates among Tez Tour customers includes Cuba, Indonesia (Bali) and the Maldives. Holidays in the Dominican Republic, the Seychelles and Sri Lanka are also in demand. Moreover, the demand for travel to Dominican Republic for the New Year’s dates is 15 times higher than for the period after the holidays, the demand for Seychelles - 7 times, Cuba - 6 times, the Maldives and Sri Lanka - 3 times, and for Bali - 2 times,” said the experts of Tez Tour. 
At the same time, according to Tez Tour, hotels offer accommodation for New Year dates on favorable conditions. “The prices for tours to Sri Lanka starts from 616 Euros per person, to Bali - from 685 Euros, to Cuba - from 812 Euros, to the Dominican Republic - from 1 131 Euros and to the Maldives - from 1 304 Euros,” TezTour informed. 
The experts of other tour operator - Tui Russia - say “for this winter season, Tui has prepared several island novelties at once: the New Year's tours to the Maldives with a charter flight, own charter program from Moscow to Santa Clara (Cuba), tours on regular flights (GDS) to Mauritius and Philippines. Of course, the biggest attention of tourists was attracted to the New Year's package tours to the Maldives and Cuba.” At the same time, Tui stressed that, thanks to a charter flight, holidays on the Maldives’ resorts have become available to tourists with an average budget. For them Tui offers accommodation in “guest houses”.
