Seychelles Ministry of Health clarifies entry rules for Russian tourists
The Ministry of Health of the Seychelles has published on its website updated rules for the entry of foreign citizens into the Republic.
Vaccinated tourists are allowed to enter two weeks after receiving the second dose. This fact must be confirmed by a covid passport or an approved vaccination certificate. In addition to this, a negative PCR test is required, done 72 hours before departure. At the same time, the certificate with the results and the vaccination certificate itself must be placed on the portal of the Ministry of Health, after which the tourist will be able to obtain an official entry permit.
It should be noted that these rules also apply to children. In addition, some restrictions for tourists remain in force within the country. In particular, they are still prohibited from using public transport and visiting bars, restaurants and other entertainment points.
However, the most important issue is vaccines, which give the tourist the right to enter the country. As the Ministry of Health explained, despite the fact that now WHO approved only Pfizer vaccinations, the requirements in Seychelles for Russian tourists are quite loyal. The main thing is that the vaccine must be certified in the country of residence of the traveler. Thus, it will be enough for Russians to be vaccinated with the domestic "Sputnik V" vaccine to fly to the islands.
