Analysts from the tourist search resource Aviasales examined airline reservations for 2019 with flights to 185 countries and found out how long, on average, travelers have holidays in certain destinations. It turned out that most of the days tourists spend in exotic countries.
Holidays lasting more than 14 days Russians spend in Southeast Asia - Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar. Also, in the list of resorts there are rare exotic destinations like Fiji, the Central African Republic, Cameroon, Paraguay, Honduras and Rwanda.
Holidays lasting 10 – 14 days are most often spent in Montenegro, Uzbekistan, Bulgaria, the USA, China, Egypt, Japan, Malta, the Maldives and the Seychelles. Among the unusual areas, experts note the Comoros, Cote d'Ivoire, Zimbabwe, Puerto Rico and Barbados.
For seven to ten days, Russians fly mainly to Europe - Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Greece, the UK, Portugal, Serbia, Croatia and Iceland. From distant countries travelers choose Hong Kong, Macau, Grenada, Kuwait, Oman and Taiwan.
Less than a week, Russians intend to spend holidays in Russia, Turkey, Belarus, Armenia, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Latvia, Switzerland, Poland, Belgium and 13 other countries. Moreover, among them there are also remote corners of our planet, for example St. Kitts and Nevis and South Sudan.
