Aeroflot expands its presence in the Seychelles

Aeroflot returns to the islands after 17 years of absence. The airline has announced a new non-stop frequency from its Moscow hub to the Seychelles islands, beginning May 1, 2021.

The airline now offers three direct flights linking Moscow and Mahé Island. The flights will be operating on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Chief executive Sherin Francis from the Seychelles Tourism Board’s headquarters on Mahé, said: “If this trend is maintained, Russia will be our number 1 market, producing the highest number of visitors per month.”
