Wizz Air will launch flights to St. Petersburg from Bratislava, Vilnius, Bucharest and Sofia
Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air plans to launch new flights from St. Petersburg Pulkovo airport in 2020, airline CEO Joseph Varadi told reporters.
"We are launching flights from June 1, 2020 to Bratislava, June 3 - to Vilnius, July 1 - to Bucharest, July 2 - to Sofia," he said.
It is planned that the airline will fly to Bratislava four times a week, to Vilnius - twice a week, to Sofia and Bucharest - three times a week.
Currently, Wizz Air flies to Pulkovo from Budapest and the frequency of flights in the schedule has been increased to five times a week instead four times earlier. In addition, Wizz Air UK (the subsidiary airline) performs flights on the rout Petersburg - London.
