Jordan has introduced a visa-free regime with Russia
On December 13, 2025, the agreement between the governments of Russia and Jordan on the mutual abolition of visa requirements for citizens of the two countries, signed in Moscow on August 20, 2025, will enter into force.
According to the agreement, Russian citizens will be able to enter and stay in Jordan without visas for up to 30 days per visit. However, they must not intend to work or conduct business, study, or permanently reside in Jordan.
In 2025, the list of countries that Russian tourists can visit without visas and other permits has expanded by three. Jordan, Oman, and China have been added, with the maximum visa-free stay in these countries being 30 days.
Russia also signed agreements with Saudi Arabia this year to abolish visa requirements, but the exact date when these changes will come into effect is still unknown.
