On Tuesday, January 19, tour operators Anex Tour and Pegas Touristik announced the extension of charter programs to the Cuban resort of Cayo Coco until autumn 2021. Also, the plans have been announced for charters to the Maldives.
This decision, according to experts, is dictated by a combination of several factors. In absence of a number of popular foreign destinations and vague prospects for their opening, tour operators should offer a long-term affordable alternative to tourists.
In addition, as current sales show, Cuba is doing an excellent job: demand is good, tourists are happy, prices for tours are competitive, which is important for tourists.
Nowadays, the prices of tours to Cayo-Coco start from 1 259 Euros for two persons for 7 nights (accommodation at a 4* hotel, AI). For similar tour with accommodation at a 5* hotel, the tour operators ask from 1 315 Euros.
Anex Tour, who loads Azur air boards together with Intourist tour operator, has extended the flight program to Cayo Coco from 31.03.2021 to October 2021, frequency is 2 times a week.
In addition to the flight program to Cuba, Anex Tour announced the prolongation of its own flights to the Maldives.
“We are extending our own flight program on boards of Azur air to Male from 03.04.2021 to October 2021. The frequency of flights is once a week,” the Anex Tour press service reported.
The minimum price for trips to the Maldives with a departure in April starts from 1 664 Euros for two persons for a week (accommodation is at a guesthouse, BB). Tours with accommodation at a 4* hotel are more expensive - from 2 023 Euros (for two for a week, BB).
Experts of travel retail sector positively evaluate the decision of tour operators to extend their flight programs, noting that they have no doubts that there will be no problems with loading of flights.
