Tour operators launch charter programs to Cuba
Anex Tour and Intourist have announced a joint charter program to Cuba on the wings of Azur Air. Pegas Touristik tour operator also has flight plans to Cuba.
Azur Air will perform flights to Cayo Coco airport from November 4. And from November 5, the company will start flights to Santa Clara (from where tours to Cayo Santa Maria will be arranged). Tourists of tour operators Anex Tour and Intourist will fly on these boards.
The flights are planned only from Vnukovo International Airport with a frequency of twice a week on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
All flights of Azur Air to Santa Clara will be charter ones. Departures are scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays. Charter flights to Cayo Coco will be operated on Wednesdays. Apart from, Azur Air plans to arrange regular flights to this resort on Saturdays.
Pegas Touristik tour operator is also expected to launch a flight program from Moscow to Cuba (also to Santa Clara and Cayo Coco) in early November. Its strategic partner, Nordwind airline, already has permits for regular flights to the islands of Cuba. The exact schedule will be announced shortly.
The government of the Russian Federation decided this week to restore air traffic with Cuba.
