Pegas Turistik will launch the first airliners to Cuba in early November
NordWind Airlines has received permission from the Federal Air Transport Agency to operate regular flights on the Moscow - Cayo-Coco route. The carrier's flight program starts on November 2, once a week. Anna Podgornaya, General Director of Pegas Turistik, spoke about this on October 24.
Earlier, the tour operator offered tours to Cuba on a pre-order basis. Now, after receiving official notification from the Federal Air Transport Agency, tourists can pay for the already booked tickets.
Anna Podgornaya also added that permission from the Federal Air Transport Agency is expected in the near future for regular flights of NordWind Airlines from Moscow to Santa Clara airport. Yesterday, Anex Tour announced that its affiliated airline Azur Air has received a confirmation from the regulator for the Moscow - Cayo Coco route. The program is scheduled from November 6 to March 27.
In addition, at the beginning of this week, the aviation authority issued permission to Royal Flight for charter flights from Moscow to the Cuban airports of Santa Clara, Cayo Coco and Cayo Largo. However, at the moment it is not known when the carrier will be able to offer them. It is assumed that in November, the authorities may lift restrictions on flights of airlines to Havana and Varadero.
