Three tour operators’ airlines stop all flights abroad
On the evening of March 5, three airlines at once, which operate most of their flights in the interests of tour operators, announced the temporary suspension of all flights abroad. Two of them stop all international flights from March 7, one - from March 8.
So, on the evening of Saturday, March 5, Azur Air (the main partners are the tour operators Anex Tour and Intourist) announced that from March 8, 2022, the company temporarily suspended all its flight programs abroad.
Passengers of canceled flights, who purchased tickets as part of travel packages, are asked by Azur Air to stay in touch with tour operators for detailed information.
Azur Air reported that at the same time, the airline will continue to operate evacuation flights for Russians who are currently abroad.
Azur Air has planned evacuation flights from Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Turkey, Egypt, Vietnam and the Maldives. Due to the adjustment of the program, changes in the schedule are possible, so the carrier asks passengers to stay in touch with the airline and tour operators to clarify the current departure time.
Two partner airlines of Pegas Touristik tour operator, Nordwind and Pegas Fly, also announced a temporary suspension of international flights starting March 7, also due to the sanctions restrictions.
