A virtual tour of the streets of Georgia will appear on Google Maps

Google Street View is officially launched in Georgia in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of Georgia and the Agency for Innovation and Technology.

As part of the project, special Google film crews will shoot 360-degree panoramic images in 24 cities of Georgia starting in March 2025. Filming will continue for exactly one year and will cover 15 thousand kilometers.

Filming will take place in such cities as Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Akhaltsikhe, Mtskheta, Telavi, Zugdidi, Gori, Ozurgeti, Mestia and others. Special attention will be paid to roads and highways.

The publication of 360-degree panoramic images of Georgian cities will start in 2026, which will improve navigation and promote tourism - visitors will be able to explore Georgia in advance and better plan their trip.
