Russia allowed charters to Egypt and the UAE, opened Tunisia and Thailand
From November 9, the Operational Headquarters removes all restrictions on regular and charter flights to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh. Also, restrictions on air traffic with Austria, Switzerland, Finland and the United Arab Emirates were lifted. New destinations opened, including Thailand and Tunisia.
As the Headquarters explained, we are talking about the removal of restrictions, including charter flights. Tourist exchange is currently possible only with the UAE. Tour operators have already announced their programs in the UAE from 15 cities in Russia.
Also, from November 9, 2021, it was decided to resume regular flights with the following states on a reciprocal basis:
Bahamas - on the route Moscow - Nassau with a frequency of 2 flights per week;
Iran - on the routes Moscow - Tehran with a frequency of 3 flights per week, Sochi - Tehran with a frequency of 1 flight per week;
The Netherlands - on the routes Moscow - Amsterdam with a frequency of 7 flights a week, Moscow - Eindhoven with a frequency of 2 flights a week, St. Petersburg - Amsterdam, Zhukovsky - Amsterdam, Yekaterinburg - Amsterdam, Kaliningrad - Amsterdam and Sochi - Amsterdam with a frequency of 2 flights a week on every route;
Norway - on the routes St. Petersburg - Bergen and St. Petersburg - Oslo with a frequency of 2 flights per week on each route;
Oman - on the route Moscow - Muscat with a frequency of 2 flights per week;
Slovenia - on the route Moscow - Ljubljana with a frequency of 3 flights per week;
Tunisia - on the route Moscow - Monastir with a frequency of 7 flights a week, St. Petersburg - Monastir with a frequency of 2 flights a week;
Sweden - on the routes St. Petersburg - Stockholm and St. Petersburg - Gothenburg with a frequency of 2 flights per week on each route;
Thailand (only for citizens of the Russian Federation vaccinated against the new coronavirus infection) - on the routes Moscow - Bangkok and Moscow - Phuket with a frequency of 2 flights per week on each route.
