According to official statistics, the tourists flow from Russia to Vietnam in 2017 (excluding the New Year dates) increased by 32.3% in comparison with the results of 2016. Thus, in this year 574 thousand Russian tourists came to Vietnam.

Tour operator Coral Travel announced about launching of a direct charter program to Fukuok island (Vietnam) since the end of October from Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Irkutsk. Sales of this direction have already begun. As reported in the company, direct charter flights from Moscow will start on October 23, from Ekaterinburg - on October 24, from Novosibirsk - on December 25 and from Irkutsk - on December 30.

As a result of the first half of 2017, Russians by the number of arrivals are in advance of US and European countries. From January to November 2016 Vietnam was visited by more than 9 million foreign tourists, which is 25.4% over of the last year's level. This is higher than predicted earlier - it was expected that 8.5 million visitors totally will arrive in 2016. In November alone, the country was visited by 926 thousand tourists - 14% more than in October and 25% more than in the same month a year ago.

Azur Air has announced the expansion of its route network in the 2019/2020 autumn-winter schedule, including from Russian regions. The carrier will also increase the intensity of flights to its traditional destinations.
