Singapore opened borders for vaccinated Russian tourists
The Singapore authorities have simplified entry requirements. From August 29, tourists vaccinated with Russian vaccines can visit the country with a PCR test, the Border Service of the Republic reports.
All vaccinated (with vaccines approved by the World Health Organization) travelers entering Singapore from August 29, 2022 will no longer require an entry permit, and the seven-day self-isolation.
As the agency notes, to enter Singapore from August 29, tourists vaccinated with other vaccines (all Russian vaccines are in this list) need a certificate in English with a negative PCR test result made 48 hours before entry.
Tourists also need to make a PCR test two days before leaving Singapore or undergo a rapid antigen test. Tourists who have not been vaccinated with WHO-approved vaccines are still required to purchase travel insurance covering COVID-19 treatment for the duration of their stay in Singapore.
Nowadays, there are no direct flights to Singapore from the Russian Federation. Tourists can get there with a connection in Turkey, the UAE or Qatar. Singapore Airlines ceased flights to Moscow on February 28, 2022.
