More tourists from Southeast Asia visited Moscow in 2025
The total tourist flow from Southeast Asian countries to Moscow amounted to approximately 63,800 trips by the end of 2025. The largest increases came from Vietnam, with an additional 10,800 trips, and Indonesia, with an additional 2,500, according to Maria Pasuginova, Head of the Department for Asia, CIS, and Latin America at the Moscow City Tourism Committee, as reported by the association. According to Moscow City Tourism Committee statistics, Moscow was visited by 44,900 travelers from Southeast Asia in 2024, with the increase in 2025 reaching 42%.
Tourists from Indonesia were among the leaders not only in terms of dynamics but also in spending. On average, they spent over 4,500 rubles per person per day in dining establishments, compared to the average tourist from far-abroad countries, who spent about 2,600 rubles, the committee noted.
