S7 Airlines to launch Novosibirsk–Colombo flights in December 2026

Russian carrier S7 Airlines has announced it will begin direct flights from Novosibirsk (OVB) to Colombo, Sri Lanka, starting December 20, 2026. According to the company's press service, the service will operate twice weekly with a technical stop in Jaipur, India, for refueling—passengers will remain onboard during the layover.  

Departures from Novosibirsk are scheduled for Thursdays at 05:15 and Sundays at 05:00 local time. Return flights from Colombo will depart on the same days at 14:50, arriving back in Novosibirsk the following day. The total travel time is expected to be approximately 10 hours.

Earlier, the national Russian air carrier Aeroflot has announced about resumption of flights to Sri-Lanka starting from October 4, 2026.
