Russia will create a company to deliver tourists to the International Space Station

"Now we are discussing the question of creating the Russian company that can organize space tourist flights to the International Space Station (ISS) in the near future", - said the source. He said that the company will likely be under Russian jurisdiction. "However, it will be able to carry out activities abroad. Because, the main audience of such services - potential space tourists - mostly live abroad", - said the source. Currently, such flight services to the ISS are provided by the US company Space Adventures. The planned creation of a Russian company-operator is one of the possible scenario, but not yet approved. The company’s main component will be organization of the delivery of space tourists to the ISS.
