Finland is closed for Russians for another month
The Finnish authorities have decided to close the border with Russia until August 25. The reason is the situation with COVID-19, the Border Guard said.
So, as the Finnish authorities said, for opening the border it is necessary that the incidence does not exceed eight (in exceptional cases - 10) new cases per 100 thousand people.
As of July 28, Russia confirmed 5 635 new coronavirus infections, bringing the country’s official number of cases to 818 120.
Entry to Finland is limited for tourists from Russia, but, for example, Russians can enter the country for study, in the event of a business trip, to meet with relatives, as well as for funerals and weddings. Each case is considered individually.
