Cuba lifted all restrictions for Russian tourists
Organized Russian tourists received a nice bonus in Cuba. Now, upon arrival on Liberty Island, tour operators' clients will not need PCR tests and vaccination certificates - the so-called QR codes.
This decision was made by the Cuban Ministry of Health on January 5, and at the moment it has entered into force.
In general, the new rules apply to organized tourists, who are sent by tour operators. The permit has been introduced for tourists from Russia, as well as Ukraine, Poland and Canada.
The official explanation from the Cuban Ministry of Health is that the decision is due to "improvement of the epidemiological situation in Cuba and high vaccination coverage." Tests and certificates of vaccination will also not be required for tourists when checking in at a hotel.
Tourists only need to fill in the D'Viajeros electronic form. Nowadays, tourists are allowed to fill out a questionnaire upon arrival.
