Tourist flow to the Emirate of Ras al-Khaimah has increased for upcoming winter season
The share of Russia in the total tourist flow in the Emirate of Ras al-Khaimah reached 25%. Tour operators confirm that sales volumes of tours to Ras al-Khaimah for this winter season have increased - including due to lower hotel prices and direct charter programs.
Over the first 8 months of this year, the international tourist flow to Ras al-Khaimah grew by 5% compared to the same period last year and the summer season showed an increase of 20% in annual terms: in August, the Emirate hosted a record 118 thousand foreign tourists.
These data were announced by the Director General of the Department of Tourism Development of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah Raki Phillips. According to the statistics of the Emirate, Russia is now on the second position in the total tourist flow (25,3%) to the Emirate and is quite a bit behind the leader - Poland (26,6%).
Among the factors, stimulating the growth of Russian tourist flow, Mr. Raki Phillips outlined the good development of tourism infrastructure, an increase of volume of regular transportation and direct charter programs to the Emirate (arranged by Tui Russia and Coral Travel tour operators) this winter season.
High sales dynamics are recorded in Tui Russia. The company connects this fact, among other things, with the launch of its own charter chain this year from Moscow to Ras al-Khaimah, which starts on October 23 with a frequency of twice a week.
The second charter player on the destination - Coral Travel - in the winter season, like Tui, flies to Ras al-Khaimah on the boards of Ural Airlines from 08.10.19 till 12.05.20 with a frequency of 2 times a week.
