The selling of Dubai tours are worse than last summer
The current sales volumes of tours to Dubai (UAE) for summer dates in Russia as a whole are less than a year earlier. These data was shared by some tour operators acting in the destination.
The reason is in the shortage of air transportation from the Russian regions. Flydubai Airlines, which provided direct transportation from major cities, refused to fly to Dubai from Kazan, Samara, Mineralnye Vody, Rostov-on-Don for the summer period. Now it is possible to get from there to the UAE only by connecting routes, which significantly reduced the demand for travel.
In Moscow, the situation with sales of tours in Dubai is more optimistic. So, ANEX Tour told that their demand corresponds to the last summer's indicators, tour packages are offered on the basis of regular Emirates flights. And TEZ TOUR and TUI, Russia even noted a positive trend - this year for the first time tour operators took blocks of seats on Emirates boards to Dubai. Coral Travel also cooperates with the carrier. “However, the loading of Emirates flights from Moscow to Dubai is not sufficient,” said the head of one of the tour operators. According to him, the airline appealed to them with a proposal to support the flight program, taking a block of seats. “This indirectly indicates that the existing number of partners is not enough to ensure the filling of the liners,” the expert explained.
Current prices for tours to Dubai with departures from Moscow in the nearest dates start from 70 thousand Rubles (981 Euros) for two persons. According to observers, 5* hotels are primarily in demand. In the summer, adult’s tourists travel more actively. The families prefer to relax with children in the winter season, when it is not so hot.
Recall that at another Emirat resort, in Abu Dhabi, a tourist flow from Moscow shows an increase compared to last year.
