VFS Global has become Hungary’s new visa operator in Russia, according to its official announcement of August 23. In particular, one visa center will be opened in each 64 Russian cities, the first 40 of them will begin work by the end of August. The operator plans to issue annually 60 000 visas in Russia.
From September, General Consulate of Hungary in Kazan temporarily stops issuing Schengen visas the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) said on Wednesday.This is associated with the introduction of fingerprinting procedures. Earlier it was reported that after the introduction of biometrics, Russians will be able to obtain Hungarian visas in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg. It is also planned to organize this process in Kazan.
