In 2017 Hungary hopes for the growth of tourist flow from Russia by 20%
“Hungary hopes to increase the number of tourists from Russia by 20% in 2017”, - the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) reports with reference to the Bureau of Tourism of the Hungarian Embassy in Russia. "According to the results of the first three months of this year, the growth of the Russian tourist flow was about 64% against the same period of 2016. With such positive dynamics Hungary expects no less than 20% increase of the number of Russian tourists", - the report said. As it was noted in ATOR, the Russian tour operators consider Hungary as one of the most stable destinations in Europe. Russians, as a rule, prefer tours to the thermal resorts of the country, and also visit the capital - Budapest. In the first quarter of 2017, 12 000 Russians received Hungarian visa. According to the Federal State Statistics Service, in 2016 the country was visited by 95 thousand tourists from Russia.
