Hungarian low-coster Wizz Air plans to increase transportation to Russia by 27% in 2018
In 2018 Hungarian low-budget airline Wizz Air plans to increase transportation to Russia by 27%, up to 145 thousand. "Up to the end of 2017, we plan to transport about 14 thousand passengers from St. Petersburg, from Moscow - 100 thousand passengers", - said Wizz Air Commercial Director George Michalopulos. "In the next year we will transport about 45 thousand people from St. Petersburg, and we expect that in 2018 our annual number of passengers will be about 145 thousand. Currently, Wizz Air carries out regular flights from Budapest to Moscow's Vnukovo airport. Since August 27, the flights will also be performed to St. Petersburg's Pulkovo airport.
